Canvas - Signing in to the Office 365 Integration

Summary

This document details how to sign in to the Office 365 integration in Canvas.

Body

In order to use Office 365 in Canvas to view your OneDrive files, you will have to log in with your UWGB credentials within the Office 365 LTI portal.

  1. Navigate to a Canvas course where you would like to use Office 365.
     
  2. Select the Office 365 tab in the course navigation menu.

  3. Select the blue Log In button.

  4. A new window will open in your browser. Select the blue button that says Log In to Office 365.

  5. On the Microsoft sign-in screen, input your full UWGB email address then select Next. Or, if you've logged in before and Microsoft recognizes your account, select your email address from the "Pick an account" menu.

  6. You will be redirected to the UWGB login portal. Enter your UWGB email and password, then complete the authentication process to sign in.
     
  7. The login window will close and you will see your OneDrive files and folders on the Office 365 page in Canvas. Your OneDrive files will now be accessible in multiple places across your Canvas courses.
