PaperCut - Print Refunds Policy

Summary

This document details how to receive a refund for a print job lost to a printer malfunction.

Body

UW-Green Bay's Printing Refund Policy

Printing refunds are only issued when a problem has occurred with the printer resulting in a damaged print job, or if the document failed to print at all (needs to be evident in the job log). Examples include a printer jam, smearing, ripping, etc.  Refunds are NOT available for misprints, accidental amount of copies, document typos, etc.  Money will be refunded to your account once the refund is fully processed by our service desk.

How to Start Processing a Refund

Please note that refunds are only usable within the Student Printing system.  It does not refund back to Phlash Cash.  You will carry a balance in Student Printing system which will be used first the next time you print.

  1. Log into https://print.uwgb.edu with your campus username and password
  2. In the navigation menu on the left, click on Recent Print Jobs
  3. Find the print job that had issues in the list and click on Request Refund
  4. Enter information in Reason for Request.

If the print was of poor quality, please hold onto it while we investigate the Refund Request.
