Kaltura Course Media Gallery - Enabling Gallery Moderation (Canvas)

Summary

This article provides a step-by-step process on how to enable gallery moderation.

Body

Enabling moderation in your Canvas course's Media Gallery will require student media submissions to receive instructor approval before publishing to the gallery. If you do not want your Media Gallery to be collaborative or are concerned about abuse, turn on moderation to prevent student submissions from appearing without your consent.

If you have not yet enabled your Canvas course’s Media Gallery, you must first unhide the Media Gallery link in your Canvas course’s navigation menu. Please see this Canvas guide page with instructions for managing course navigation links.

Enabling Moderation

Perform the following steps to enable moderation in your Canvas course Media Gallery:

  1. Navigate to your Canvas course Media Gallery by selecting the Media Gallery link in the course navigation menu.
