Mac - Installing an Application from Self Service

Summary

This document details how to install an application from the campus hosted Self Service on a campus Mac.

***NOTE: Adobe products can only be installed with no other applications running. It is best to reboot the Mac and run the install at the end of the day so the install can finish cleanly. This is not required for non-Adobe installs, but it is recommended.***


1. Select "Command+Space" to open the search bar. Search for "Self Service" and select it to open.

2. In Self Service you will be presented with a list of applications available to you. Select the application you wish to install with the "Install" button.

3. Once you select "Install," it will say "Executing." You will know it is done installing when it shows "Reinstall."
