This document details how to keep a date and time within Microsoft Word updated automatically.

1. In a Word document:

        1. Select "Insert."

        2. Select "Date & Time."

2. In the Date and Time window:

        1. Select the date format you want to insert into the document.

        2. Make sure "Update automatically" is checked.

        3. Select "OK."
