Tags

It is useful to tag parts of one's notes for future reference. Select "Tags" and insert whichever tag you wish. Tags is located under the Home tab.

Dictate

Dictate is a useful tool that allows you to speak into a microphone and have it transferred to text on the page.

1. Select the Dictate icon.

2. Select the language you want to dictate in.

Math Function

The Math function in OneNote is great for solving problems and recording notes in real-time.  

1. In a OneNote page:

        1. Select "Insert."

        2. Select "Math."

2. Use the Math Assistant to solve a math problem.

Audio Function

The Audio option is great for recording lectures and keeping the recordings with your notes. 

1. In a OneNote page:

        1. Select "Insert."

        2. Select "Audio."

Once you select Audio, it will begin to record; when the lecture is finished, stop recording. You can also rewind and more using the Audio functions.
