Canvas (Integration) - Lucid

The Lucid integration gives students and instructors access to the Lucid Education Suite in Canvas. The Lucid Education Suite includes Lucidspark for virtual whiteboarding and Lucidchart for diagramming and visual modeling. These tools are integrated into UWGB’s Canvas environment and available in all courses.

All users can access the Lucid (Whiteboard) link in any Canvas course’s navigation menu to access Lucid to create and manage Lucid documents. When first launching Lucid from a course, you must create a Lucid account and connect it to Canvas. 

Information for Instructors

Instructors can use the Lucid integration to add Lucid documents to a Canvas course in two ways:

• Instructors can embed collaborative Lucid whiteboards and diagrams in Canvas pages. To find Lucid in the Rich Content Editor, select the Apps icon > View All.
• Instructors can create Lucid assignments where each student gets their own copy of a template and works independently to create and submit their own Lucid document.
