Ableton - Using Shared Factory Packs Location in IS 1129J

Summary

There are packs placed in a shared folder so that each user does not need to download and install large Live packs. This helps save the Mac storage space.

Body

There is a shared folder for Ableton Live Factory Packs, but each user will need to change their pack folder location to use it.  This setting is per user per computer, so it will be easiest if students try to use the same computer for the semester.  This will save users time downloading these huge packs, and it will save storage space on the Macs.

  1. Open Ableton Live from the dock.
