With the introduction of the new Nest Intranet site there are news notifications appearing in Teams. Here is how to disable them if you do not want them to appear.
In your Teams window click on the triple dots in the upper right of the window and click Settings.
Next click Notifications and activity in the right menu bar and scroll down to the bottom where it says connections. You can change it from On to Off and that will stop the notification.
