Canvas (Students) - Book a Meeting with the Zoom Appointment Scheduler

Booking a Meeting

Follow these steps to book a meeting on your instructor's bookable schedule:

  1. Navigate to the Canvas Course in which your instructor has created a bookable schedule.
  2. Select Zoom in the course navigation menu.

  3. Select Appointments at the top of the Zoom integration page.

  4. Select the Schedule block for the meeting type you want to book.

  5. Select the date for your appointment in the calendar and then select an available time slot.

  6. Select the Book button in the confirmation window.

After booking the meeting, Zoom will send you and your instructor an email message confirming the meeting.

Joining a Scheduled Meeting

Follow these steps to view your booked appointments and join a meeting from the Zoom Canvas integration:

  1. Navigate to the Canvas Course in which you booked a meeting.
  2. Select Zoom in the course navigation menu.

  3. Select Appointments at the top of the Zoom integration page.

  4. Select the Upcoming Events tab.

  5. Select the Join button next to the meeting you want to join.

Cancelling a Scheduled Meeting

Follow these steps to cancel a scheduled meeting:

  1. Navigate to the Canvas Course in which you booked the meeting.
  2. Select Zoom in the course navigation menu.

  3. Select Appointments at the top of the Zoom integration page.

  4. Select the Upcoming Events tab.

  5. Select the Cancel button next to the meeting you want to cancel.

  6. In the confirmation window, select Yes, Cancel.

Zoom will send an email message to you and your instructor to notify them of the cancellation.
