Canvas (Students) - Creating a Lucid Account and Connecting it to Canvas

Summary

The Lucid integration in Canvas is available to all UW-Green Bay students and instructors. This article includes instructions for students using Lucid for the first time in a Canvas page or assignment who need to create a Lucid account.

Body

If this is the first time you have ever used Lucid or have been assigned a Lucid whiteboard activity in Canvas, you will need to create a Lucid account and connect it to Canvas. 

  1. Locate the Lucid activity that your instructor has either embedded into a Canvas Page or created as a Canvas Assignment and shared with you in a Canvas module.
  2. Activate your Lucid account by confirming you are 13 years or older. Select Yes, and then Next.

  3. On the next screen, select the Sign up button to automatically create your Lucid account. You will then be directed to finish your registration and link your Lucid account with Canvas.

  4. Complete the registration by clicking Register and then Continue on the next screen to be redirected to the Lucid activity in Canvas.
