Windows 11 - Mapping Drives

This document details how to map a network share/share drive on Windows 11.

Body

1. Navigate to File Explorer on your home screen

Open File Explorer

2. In File Explorer, select "This PC" on the left side

Select This PC

3. In the top-right corner of the screen, click on the three horizontal dots

Select the 3 Dots

4. Select "Map network drive"

Select Map Network Drive

5. Enter the:

        a. Letter you want to represent the drive

        b. File path for the drive

        c. Whether or not you want the drive to automatically connect after signing into the computer

        d. Hit "Finish"

6. The drive will now appear under This PC with your other drives

NOTE: If you receive the error message below, the file path is incorrect or the User does not have access to the share
