***NOTE: If the on-premise EMS Desktop Client (version 44.1.34000 or earlier) had previously been installed for the user, then uninstall it before installing the EMS Cloud Desktop Client.***

Installation
1. Navigate to the installation instructions using the following link: EMS Cloud Desktop Client Installation Instructions.
***NOTE: Be sure to disable your pop-up blocker to allow the following pop-up.***
2. Select "Download and Install the EMS Desktop Client."

3. The installation file that needs to be opened is EMSApplication.exe. You will see the following at the bottom of your browser window. Select "Run."

4. You will see the following screen. Enter https://uwgb.emscloudservice.com/desktop/ into EMS Web Deploy configuration URL and select “OK.”

5. When the installation is complete, you should see the following log in screen. Log into EMS and close your browser window.

6. If you see a message on the bottom of the browser asking "What do you want to do with emswebdeployconfiguration.cfg," you can ignore it and close the browser. If you get a message saying "Your files are still downloading," you can select "Close anyway."

Troubleshooting
When encountered with this error:

Follow the steps below:
Removing the Registry Key from the User's Machine
1. On the user's local machine, open Regedit.exe.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\EMS Software\Version 44.1.
3. Right click on the version that is installed, and select "Delete."
4. If there is a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Dean Evans and Associated, then right click on "Dean Evans and Associates" and select "Delete."
Removing (.cfg) and (.exe) Files from the User's Downloads Folder
1. On the User's local machine, navigate to C://Users/<profile>/AppData/Roaming/.
2. Delete the EMS2016 folder.
Removing the EMS2016 Folder
1. On the User's local machine, navigate to C://Users/<profile>/AppData/Roaming/.
2. Delete the EMS2016 folder.
***NOTE: After doing the above steps, redo the installation instructions. During the installation, if there as an option to Keep or Delete "emswebdeployconfig....cfg", press "Delete". You should go ahead and run the "EMSApplication.exe".***
