This document can show instructors how to create a sandbox course in Canvas. A Canvas sandbox course, previously known as a "master" course, is a place for instructors to create, test, and develop course content outside of an active instructional course. Sandbox courses cannot contain Students, but content from a Sandbox course can be easily imported into an instructional course.

This document details how to create pages using custom templates in the Kentico application. We don't expect you to build a page from scratch, so that's why we have custom templates to choose from. You can either choose a custom template when you create a new page, or you can use the Change Template icon floating on the bottom left of your screen to switch templates after your page has been created. Canvas Commons is a repository of shared Canvas course content from which instructors can import resources into their own courses. A resource on Commons can be an individual content item (pages, assignments, quizzes, etc.), a whole module, or even an entire course. This document details the steps UW-Green Bay instructors should follow to import a resource from Canvas Commons into their Canvas course.
