Kaltura - Kaltura MediaSpace (KMS) GO App for Mobile Devices

The Kaltura MediaSpace (KMS) GO app supports many of the features of the Kaltura MediaSpace desktop site. Users can use it to upload and manage their media and access advanced features such as In Video Quizzes and channel subscriptions. Note that, at this time, the Kaltura MediaSpace GO app allows users to generate share links but not embed codes for their media content.

Setting Up Kaltura MediaSpace GO

KMS GO is available for installation in the respective app stores for Android and iOS devices.

After installing KMS GO, you need to configure it for use with Kaltura MediaSpace:

  1. Use your device's app store to search for and install "Kaltura MediaSpace GO."
  2. Launch the app and select the Enter the URL for Your Site button. Enter mediaspace.wisconsin.edu after the https://.

  3. You will be redirected to the KMS GO homepage for the Universities of Wisconsin. Select the Profile icon at the top-left corner of the page.
     
  4. Select the Login button.

  5. On the UW System login screen, choose UW-Green Bay as your "organization" and then select the Go button. Use your UWGB credentials to sign in.

Using the Kaltura MediaSpace GO App

Once you have configured the app and logged in, you can use KMS GO app to upload, watch, and download media. Select the Upload option at the bottom of the screen to upload media from your phone to your My Media library. Or select the profile icon at the top-right of the screen to access your My Media library.

From your profile page, you can continue watching videos, access your My Media library of uploaded videos, "watch later" list, "downloads" list, and create playlists.
