Unable to Hear Audio in Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom

Some users, especially after receiving BIOS updates, will lose the ability to hear others when in Zoom or Teams meetings. The microphone on the laptop still works, so others can hear the individual having issues, however they can not hear when someone else is speaking. The camera on the device also still works, which sets this error apart from other hardware issues where the physical internal cables get disconnected.
