Note: Each tablet/phone has a sticker corresponding to which user account should be used on that device:
- Sticker “strec” = “streceiving” account
- Sticker “strec2” = “streceiving2” account
- Sticker “strec3” = “streceiving3” account
- Sticker “strec4” = “streceiving4” account
Issue 1
If the “streceiving”, “streceiving2”, “streceiving3”, or “streceiving4” passwords are changed, then they have to be updated in two locations in order for the Package Tracking functionality to continue working:
- These devices connect via Eduroam wifi, so the Eduroam setup on the device will need to have the password changed. They should not switch to the guest wifi as that will result in the system being too slow.
- These devices use the Excel phone/tablet app to use spreadsheets located in Sharepoint: https://uwgb.sharepoint.com/sites/Purchasing/Mail/
- The password for the connection to SharePoint needs to be changed to match the new password
- If the SharePoint site listed above does not show up on the tablet/phone at all, then re-create the above connection to SharePoint using the appropriate account/new password corresponding to the sticker on that device.
Issue 2
Note: This issue may occur at the same time as “Issue 1” or it could occur separately
When opening an Excel spreadsheet from SharePoint on the tablet/phone: https://uwgb.sharepoint.com/sites/Purchasing/Mail/, they may see one of the following messages: “This account does not allow editing on your device. For an account with full access, contact your organization about your Office 365 plan.” **OR** “Read-only Account. You can view documents for free, but this account does not allow editing on your device. For an account with full access, contact your organization about your Office 365 plan.”
If either of these messages occur, you will need to contact the Network team.
