eduroam - Connecting on Android

NOTE: Due to variations in Android devices, not every Android-based device will work in the same way.  Therefore, IT cannot guarantee every device can be made to work. If you have problems connecting, please contact the GBIT Service Desk: uwgb.edu/servicedesk

Android 6 and up

1. In General Settings, make sure WiFi is turned on.

2. Select "eduroam."

3. Configuration information:

  • EAP Method: PEAP

  • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2

  • Anonymous Identity: 

  • Identity: Campus email (e.g.boerkj99@uwgb.edu)

  • Password: Campus password

  • Domain: uwgb.edu

NOTE: For those using Android 8.1.0 and above, you must select "Use System Certificate" to be able to enter the domain.
