Finding Your Wireless Hardware Address (MAC Address) on a Mac Laptop/Desktop
1. Click on the Apple Logo (usually in the top left of the device), and select System Settings.
2. In System Settings, select on "Network"
3. In Network, select on the word "Wi-Fi".
4. Clicking on Wi-Fi should show you a list of connections, and at the top, it will show you the Wi-Fi you are connected to. If you click on "Details" on the right-hand side, it will open up more information regarding the connection. If you are NOT actively connected to the Wi-Fi, scroll through the list of connections and click on the three dots for the "Details" option.
5. In the pop-up that appears after clicking on Details, click on "Hardware", and it should display your MAC address.
Finding Your Wired Hardware Address (MAC Address) on a Mac Laptop/Desktop
Repeat the same steps as above, but at step 3, select on the name of the Wired Connection, instead of "Wi-Fi". The wired connection name may vary, but it will usually say it is "Connected" with a green dot.
