FactSet - Account Request and Login

Account Creation

NOTE: Try to sign in FactSet before you request an account. You may already have a FactSet ID created.

Please see Logging into FactSet for information on how to sign in. Visit https://support.factset.com/academic/#/ and fill out the form. A FactSet ID will be created for you in 1 to 2 hours. You should receive an email in your inbox when the account is created. If you don’t receive an email and are still unable to sign in after 2 hours, please reach out to the GBIT Service Desk or FactSet support for assistance (support@factset.com).

Logging into FactSet

  1. After your account has been created login at https://login.factset.com/.
  2. Select “Single Sign-On (SSO)” in the lower right-hand corner.
  3. Enter your UWGB email address.

Troubleshooting

If you get the following message:

FactSet SSO Login Error
Double-Check that you put in the correct email address. If your email address is correct and you still can’t sign in, you do not have a FactSet ID in the system. To request a FactSet ID, see Account Creation.

Willie D. Davis Finance & Investment Remote Lab

They are available from 4pm to 4am during the weekdays. It is available all day during the weekends.

If students need the FactSet desktop app with the Excel Add-in, they will need to use the remote lab.
