You can use an iframe embed code to insert a video form your Kaltura My Media library in a website or Canvas page.
Copying the Embed Code for a My Media Video
To copy the the embed code for your video:
- Sign into Canvas and access your My Media library by selecting Account > My Media in the Canvas global navigation menu along the left side of the screen.
- In your My Media library, select the name of the media item you would like to share.
- Select the Share tab underneath the media player.
- Select the Embed tab (in Canvas, this may be the only tab and already selected).
- Choose the Player skin (Basic, Download, Share & Embed, etc.) and Player size you wish to use.
- Copy the text in the embed code box by selecting the box (to highlight the entire code) and then pressing CTRL + C to copy (Command + C on a Mac or you may alternatively right-click in the text box and select “Copy” in the context menu).
- Return to the location where you would like to embed your media and use the appropriate HTML editor to paste in the embed code.
Using an Embed Code in Canvas
While editing a page in Canvas, you insert your video by selecting Insert > Embed in the Rich Content Editor's menubar and then pasting in the iframe embed code.
