Steps to Reset Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
To reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), please follow these guidelines:
- Reach out to the GBIT Service Desk in-person or over the phone.
- GBIT will verify your account information. Please be ready to provide further information if required.
- GBIT will then reset your MFA and will guide you to a UWGB Single Sign-On (SSO) page. Ex: https://www.uwgb.edu/email
- After you sign in, it will have you setup your new MFA.

Why can't Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) be reset via email?
- For security reasons, email is not considered a secure method for handling MFA resets. Verifying identity over the phone or in person ensures the protection of user accounts.
